Blocked Up Back Door – Planning Permission
I plan to buy a house in Aberdeen. The back door of the property is blocked and not visible at all from the inside and outside but the work was carried out to the property in excess of 15 years ago, as motioned in the home report by the surveyor and told by the seller. My solicitor advised me that if the work was carried out in excess of 15 year ago then it doesn’t require the planning permission.
Question-1: Does it require planning permission, if I buy the house now?
Question-2: How can I ensure that the work was carried out in excess of 15 years ago?
Question-3: Could this be an issue for a lender?
