Do I Need Permission - Ask An Expert

Hi,

I live in Dundee and have a detached garage at the rear of my property and would like to convert it into a games/recreation room. i would like to install a toilet and hand wash sink so i would need to connect a waste drain into the existing chamber in my garden. I already have electricity and a cold water supply. I would also like to change the doors for a patio door. Would i need planning permission?

Thanks
Darren

    Good morning Darren,

Unless your home is a listed building or you are in a conservation area, you do not require planning permission for your conversion. However you must apply for a Building Warrant.

We are able to assist you with this and would be happy to discuss your requirements with you.
