We are in the process of buying a cottage in a row of 6 semi detached cottages. From the plans we have an equal amount of land for our drives as our neighbours cottage which would I think make sense. However our neighbours have a side extension, a pathway and a separate garage while our cottage has only a pathway and a similar size extension with an integral garage. It looks like our neighbours have gained several feet into our boundary at some point. All the other cottages except ours have a separate garage and extension. Can we make a claim to get this boundary re established?
