garage + store

Do I Need Permission - Ask An Expert Good Afternoon, I have recently bought the Old School House in Forbestown, Strathdon, it is a C listed buliding and wonder what permission I need to construct a stand alone garage for one car and a adjoining store behind the property. I plan to use use a wooden structure in keeping with the age of the building and other structures nearby.

    Evening Tom,

Both the garage will need planning permission and possibly (dependent on its size) a building warrant. I am also slightly unsure from your question if the ‘store’ is to be attached to the house or garage; if it is the house, this element would also require ‘Listed Building Consent’.

Hope this helps and if I can be of further assistance; please do not hesitate to contact me.
