Do I Need Permission - Ask An Expert Hi

My neighbour has removed about 13 tons of soil from his back garden, this hole is 4m wide and tapers down from just over 1m to 0 over 3m. The removed soil starts 2m from his back wall and right against my boundary and the boundary of the neighbour two houses up as well. My concern is that my fence, garden and path collapses into this hole at some point? If I did the same would I need planning permission

    Hello Graeme.

It really depends on what they are going to do with the land when it come to planning permission and permitted development.

For building warrant it also depends what is going to be done, some works may require a warrant i.e if a wall was built over 1.2m in height.

You would really need to know what is being done to determine if planning permission or warrant would apply.

Thanks for using Do I Need Permission.
