New toilet/drainage

New toilet/drainage

Have an existing bathroom with sink. Want to put in a toilet. This entails 2.5 meters of plastic pipe to connect to the existing sewer drain which already runs down the outside of my property. The new pipe will be on the exterior of the property not seen by anyone as the nearest property is behind trees and approx 30 + meters away. Their gable end has a small window for their toilet which is the only window.
Would I require any form of planning?
Please assist.
Regards
George.

    George.

This would not require planning permission unless you lived in a listed building, conservation area or building forming part of flats or apartments.

You may require building warrant if you are changing the existing main draiange line. You also have the responsibility to ensure you are connecting into the foul draiange system and not any surface water system.

Thanks for using Do I Need Permission
