Fees payable to your local planning department are noted in each project category.  The below fees are payable where required. The information below is relevant to planning fees Scotland only.

From 1st November 2014

From the 1st November 2014 planning fees have increased. For fees prior to this see below “fees prior to 1st November 2014.

Home extensions – £202

Conservatories – £202

Loft conversions – £202

Basement conversions – £202

Garden rooms – £202

Garages – £202

Alteration to an existing dwelling – £202

New build – £401 (per dwelling created)

Change of use – £401 (if multiple dwelling to be created the fee is payable per dwelling created)

Advertisements including signage – £202

Applications for improvements to a disabled persons dwelling – No fee

Application for certificate of lawfulness – £202

Prior to 1st November 2014

Home extensions – £192

Conservatories – £192

Loft conversions – £192

New build – £382 (per dwelling created)

Change of use – £382 (if multiple dwelling to be created the fee is payable per dwelling created)

Applications for improvements to a disabled persons dwelling – No fee

Application for certificate of lawfulness – £96 or £192 if works have already taken place.

Prior to 6th April 2013
