SHED FOR STORAGE

SHED FOR STORAGE

Do I Need Permission - Ask An Expert Hello

I would like to erect a Shed as additional storage.
The size, height and distance from boundary of property is not the issue.

As I live in a rural area, and only have several neighbours do I still require to go through the planning permission process if the structure is sited in the front of my property?

There is no main road at the front of the property only a private/communal drive.

If I still require Planning Permission, I would like to save money by applying myself, however I am a little confused as to what OS map information the process requires?

Kind Regards

    Hello Stephen.

It will depend on how your property is accessed and sits with the main road. In some cases where you are accessed off a communal/shared drive development will be permitted within the entire property boundary.

I would take a look at the following link which gives examples of different situations and see what best suits your property.

If you need to make an application your local council can normally supply you with the OS map that you need for a fee. You would also need detail of the proposed shed etc…

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for using Do I Need Permission.
