We have a 2.5 acre croft, a generous proportion of this is de-crofted.
We would like to build a ¾ scale ‘crofters cottage’ out of strawbale and run it as a glamping ‘pod’. It would be a very basic construction and offer the same facilities as many of the timber ‘wig-wams’ and ‘pods’ that are popular these days.
Do I need planning permission for this? If it is needed, am I likely to have planning permission granted?
Thanks in advance for your expert opinion.
